Cottage Closing Checklist

Check the tasks that have been completed:

Take down Internet antenna
Shut off pump and water heater
Disconnect and Drain pump
Plug topside hose openings
Take off and drain foot valve and jet valve
Plug bottom side hose openings
Drain U traps (kitchen sink and bathroom sink inside)
Drain U traps (tub and washing machine drainpipe outside)
Drain shower pipe after water off (pull/push in tub)
Empty water containers
Winterize washing machine
Flush toilet after pump off
Remove screens
Turn off power
Tighten fuses

Check the tasks that have been completed:

Discontinue Long Distance service
Discontinue Internet service 
Windows locked
Doors locked
Blinds down
Garage locked
Garbage
